Michelle specializes in:
Michelle L. Bush has been a resident of Cheyenne, Wyoming for much of her life. She was born in Spokane, Washington in 1969. She attended both the University of Arizona and University of Wyoming, and obtained a B.S. in Accounting in 1991 from the University of Wyoming. She has a Certified Public Accounting license in Wyoming, which she obtained in 1992. She then graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma’s College of Law in 1995, where she graduated as Order of the Coif. Michelle was a Note Editor of the University of Oklahoma Law Review, was on the Dean’s Honor Roll and received various achievement awards during law school.
Before joining Dray, Thomson & Dyekman in 2003, Michelle practiced law in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Fort Collins, Colorado in the areas of business law, real estate law, municipal financing, general litigation and employment law. Michelle is currently an associate with the firm. She has focused her practice with the firm in the areas of hospital and health care law, business and corporate law, real estate, contract drafting and disputes, general litigation and other matters.
Michelle is currently licensed to practice law in both Wyoming and Colorado. She is also licensed to practice in the courts of Wyoming and Colorado, as well as the United States Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has published the following: Comment, “Lender and Receiver Liability: A New Era of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act’s Security Interest Exemption - Interpreted by the EPA’s New Lender Liability Rule,” 48 Oklahoma Law Review 131 (Spring 1995) and a Chapter, “Is Franco Moot When it Comes to Tribal and Interstate Claims to Oklahoma Water?” published as Project Report Number A-130 in October, 1995 pursuant to the efforts of the Environmental Institute of Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma and published as part of the Sovereignty Symposium, Fall 1995.
Michelle is an active member of the American Health Lawyer’s Association, as well as the Wyoming, Colorado and American Bar Associations. She is currently a member of the Cheyenne Kiwanis and Cheyenne Young Professionals.
