Nicholas specializes in:
A Canadian, Nick graduated from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada, with an Honors degree in Political Science, in 1995. Nick received his J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1999, where he was inducted into the Order of Barristers. After graduation, Nick practiced for 3 years in Oklahoma in the areas of corporate law and litigation before returning to Wyoming, and joining the firm. Nick is admitted to both the Wyoming and Oklahoma bars, and to the federal districts courts of Wyoming, Northern and Western Districts of Oklahoma.
Nick regularly represents and advises a wide variety of health care providers, including hospitals, physician groups, diagnostic testing companies, ambulatory surgery centers, regional health information organizations (RHIOs), and health care payors, on various aspects of health law, with particular emphasis on the impact of the Anti-Kickback law, Stark law, HIPAA, rembursement and licensing, and other aspects of regulation by government.
